We mourn the loss of our dearly departed brother, Corey Daigle.
Corey was a selfless friend and brother and his untimely death was unfortunate.
We will miss you very much, Corey. See you in the afterlife.

IN TALLAHASSEE 1991

Did not get enough time to chat with that old friend you saw for a half minute at the dinner party? Did not get the chance to get a picture with the old girlfriend who ended up getting married to one of your pledge brothers? Did not get enough of John Rivers' barbeque chicken at the tailgate? Want to see the Seminoles in person for the first time in a long time? Well, in a few short weeks you will have another chance.
On the weekend of November 3-5, the brothers of the Florida Beta chapter of SAE will have their second annual alumni weekend. Here is the current outline for the weekend:
Friday - 10am - Second annual golf tournament at Capital City Country Club.
Friday - 5pm - Cocktail party at Capital City Country Club
Friday - 6:30 - A few words on the status of the current chapter and other news
Friday - 7pm - A personal communication to the alumni by the Supreme Archon
Friday - 10pm - end of party to allow groups to have a late dinner
Saturday - *TBA - Tailgate barbeque hosted by John Rivers

Note: The kickoff for the Virginia game has not been announced. Once announced, this page will be updated. Details on how to register are below.
We do ask that anyone with a means of obtaining Silver Chief parking passes please contact Minerva at minerva@saefsu.com. Minerva is the friend of our chapter who is working hard to rebuild our unity lost when our chapter closed.
Those of you who purchased tickets in the SAE block back in the spring, the tickets will be distributed at the tailgate before the game unless you contact us.
If you are just now deciding to attend and can't find a hotel room, there is a hotel outside ot town that still has availability. If enough people stay there, the hotel has mentioned that they might be able to provide transportation for a group. Please check them out at http://www.innatwildwood.com/
"SAE CARES"
This year's Florida Beta Alumni Weekend will have a new twist. While catching up with old friends we are going to make a difference in the Tallahassee community...We are going to make a difference by giving something back and fulfilling the ideals of The True Gentleman.
This year, a local charity has been selected to be the beneficiary of our SAE weekend and the initiative is SAE CARES. The goal of this initiative is to raise $15, 000 for Capital Area Healthy Start.
Healthy Start is a local organization that provides support and services for pregnant women and infants who are at risk. Infant mortality is much higher in Tallahassee area than it should be and Healthy Start works to provide the services needed immediately by pregnant women, while also identifying improvements needed for healthier babies in the future. Healthy Start is about making a difference everyday. Their website is capitalareahealthystart.org.
The price for the happy hour on Friday Nov 4 and the tailgate barbeque on Saturday will $85 for alumni, $35 for their date and $5 for any children. When registering, everyone will have the opportunity to go above and beyond the minimum in the spirit of giving. Our tax-deductible gifts will provide much needed help to those who desperately need it.
The core group who are going to make “SAE Cares” happen are:
Tom Harrison – fall 1991 – head of the initiative
Elton Woodward – Fall 1960
Lee Huszagh – Fall 1962
Chris Holley – spring 1976
John Rivers – fall 1984 (GA Sigma)
Tom Jackson – fall 1986
Brett Belote – spring 1988
Please make "SAE Cares" an incredible success.
